| Elizabeth Robinson: Register to contact | Americus High School class of 1974 has been having periodical reunions. There are not very many people present but fun is the always on the menu.
In June 2009, omn the 12 -14th, we are trying to reunite once again.
Please let me know if you are interested. The fee for the weekend is $150.00 single or $200.00 per couple. The theme for the event is The Way we were - Americus High Scool Class of 1974 - Americus, Georgia (shirt front)

| Elizabeth Robinson: Register to contact | A few members of the Class of 1974 had a blessed reunion on June 12 - 14, 2009. We met two nights at the Glover Center. The first night was for reaquaintence. We really did do just that. We ate, we talked, we enjoyed. Marcus Raven fancies himself a chef, those ribs and fish sure were good. We watched a DVD featuring a classmate, Roy Foster, it was very moving and inspiring.He was featured as a CNN hero, if you can aquire it, it's worth watching.On Saturday, we took a trip down memory lane with live music from Silky Smooth(Lynn Tyson and Anthony English); This was a treat, you should have been there.We enjoyed lunch first at the Flaming Grill on Rucker Street, this is an establishment owned by Eddie and Kim Dunn, we ate and we entertained them. Everyone enjoyed. We attented a spirit filled service at Friendship on Cotton Avenue, the word was really brought forth with power, the music was very powerful also. We were honored when Carlton Russell and Roy Foster spoke on our behalf. The Class of 1969 from Sumter High was also at the service and they were also at Rhyan Steakhouse as we said our reluctant goodbyes. They were bitter sweet. We were all tired but HAPPY.... | Elizabeth Robinson: Register to contact | Fred Wooten had a marvelous time, he was present on June 12-14, 2009. We looked hard for Larry Stephens and Frank Seay.Gloria Raven Montgomery called and sent a donation, Robert Iverson sent his regrets. Shannon Johnson also was present and warmly welcomed.
